Outreach Activities
This section highlights my community involvement both in Japan and my hometown. Through these activities, I've had the chance to deepen my understanding of Japanese culture while also sharing it with others.

Guesthouse EN
After completing my 2023 fall semester at Meiji Gakuin University, I decided to extend my stay in Japan and spent six weeks volunteering at a hostel in Hiroshima. I worked five days a week, handling tasks like checking guests in and out, keeping common areas clean, and preparing beds for new arrivals. During my free time, I enjoyed hanging out in the hostel's common spaces, where I met travelers from all over the world and explored the surrounding areas of Hiroshima.

Bon Dance Festival
I had the opportunity to volunteer at a local Bon Dance festival, an annual event that celebrates Japanese culture through performances like taiko drumming, kyudo, kendo, and traditional children’s festival games. The festival also featured an array of delicious Japanese food prepared by local vendors. My role involved selling tickets and greeting attendees.
